Baby Gifts for those with an absent parent

I was thinking tonight about the families of the service men and women in Iraq. I feel so honored that there are men and women willing to serve in the military for what they believe is right for our country.

When I consider their children, I ache that they are separated from one or sometimes both parents who are in service. I remember my oldest niece was 2 before she saw her father since he was on a tour of duty in Vietnam. But children are often separated from a parent for other reasons as well. Many parents have to travel in their work.

If you are the parent or grandparent of one of these children, you want to make sure your child has lots of pictures available of the absent parent.
